The Interact "V3 Advanced FX" wheel

My problem is simple the wheel will install, but is does
not stay installed. After a while the game (POD) can't find
the wheel, if i reboot and relaunch the game I can set it
up again np.

I am running WinXP home

Is there a way to get/make this device work better, or
should I throw it out and buy a better one?
