The installation source for this product is not available

I recently decided to install the full Outlook product on my home PC. I popped in my Office XP Pro Spec Edition CD and got the following message when the installer began to run.

"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."

Any help to get Outlook XP installed on my machine would be very greatly appreciated.
 
Have you the newest windows installer on it?
have you a computer network at home?
