Hi everyone!
I've always been puzzled by the idea behind getting an image of a
drive/partition/volume.
I know you can restore any of those by using an image of it, but what if I
format that particular partition? When I do that, it's because I've found a
very serious problem in that installation, but if I restore using an image,
I'll get back all the trash and every other problem that I had before. Isn't
that so?
Thank you!

The idea is to create an Image of a Good working system.

Example. On a freshly formatted machine. Install the OS plus pathes,
Install any programs you need, then image the drive.
