I couldn't capture Video from my DV handycam enymore. The
software(Pinnacle Studio 8)tells me that the hard drive
data rate is too slow(Read:269759 kbyte/ses;Write:3329
kbyte/sec)It needs 4444 kbyte/sec to be able to
capture. Can you tell me how to "Speed up"the data rate?
Thank you.

I'm guessing your read throughput has an extra digit
inserted by mistake, or you have the fastest hard drive
I've seen clocked to date (by a large margin). ;)

Even old hard drives should be able to write at the rate
required, so you either have a problem with your hard
drive or with your connection to the camera (or perhaps
with your camera, if it isn't sending the data fast
enough). Without more details, these are the only guesses
I have to offer.
