The Getting Started with Microsoft Access window

If you click on any access file you should not be seeing the startup screen.

It only when you start ms-access up with nothing to do will you see the
screen.

I suppose if this is an isssue then you could place a shortcut to a blank
accDB file, and click on that in place of the access icon....
