I am doing a clean install on a freshly formatted
partition on a IBM Thinkpad 390X notepad. I get the above
message on install. I have redownloaded and reloaded my 6
floppys to no avail. It won't go any further than this.
Value 0 on the line in section (SourceDisksFiles) with
key "SP1.cab"

I hope that somebody might have some experience with
this. My work around is to install WIN 98 on one
partition then install WIN XP on the other then delete WIN
98, change my boot.ini file and use this partition for
data. It seems clumsy but it works. Ick!

You downloaded the wrong set of disks.....you need the ones
for SP1.
