You can convert to NTFS if you wish.

Honestly if you are running Windows 2000 or higher you should be on
NTFS.
File system says FAT32 yes

...and my mailbox is now on 4.6GB.
Youch. I won't even ask what you keep in there!
How do i check if i have FAT32
and if so even if i try and delete mail i get the message so how do
i get rid of mail?
No, sorry, just had a look now and my offline .ost file is 3.99GB.
dont know why exchange system mnger is showing 4.6GB...can that be
the reason (4gb limit) why i get the error -
Yes. I didn't think of it at first as it's rare to find anything but
NTFS on a current-generation workstation.
so what do i do to get
rid of it?
Right-click on your hard drive in Windows Explorer and go to
properties. On the general tab, check out what it says for File
System.
You can convert FAT32 to NTFS easily, and it usually goes very
smoothly, but if you have any data on this computer (as in, stuff that
is not synced with data on a server - your OST file doesn't count)
make a backup of your files first. Note that you cannot convert back
from NTFS without third party tools (although that should never be
necessary)
