The file 'ltmdmnt.sys' on windows driver cabinet is needed.

A found new hardware message has started popping up when I
re-boot my computer, and then I get a "files needed"
window that has this message. I am given the chance to
copy the files from: C:\WINNT\Driver Cache, but when I do
that it says the file isn't there.

I searched all over the microsoft support site and
couldn't find any patch or driver that seemed to be the
fix... does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Go to Google Groups and search for your file. You'll find plenty of others
who have had your problem and found solutions. Maybe one will work for you.
