The End?

I've just joined the NG so apologies if this has been asked before :)

Is there a source for any free "The End" type clips anywhere? I picked
up a couple from the MM web site, but I was after a few more.

When I started playing with MM2 I was reminded of my Dad and his cine
camera. he used to buy lots of `cartoon` clips that he'd fix to the
start and end of the family cine films. :)

Had he still been alive, he'd have loved today's digital equipment.
It's unlikely my mother would have been able to pry him away from a PC
and camcorder ;)

Hello there,

My god yes!!! My dad used to use those clips on the end of his Cine Super 8
film...it had a small magnetic strip along the edge and it sounded AWFULL
!!!

I have myself searched the web and found nothing useful. As I already own a
program called SWISH (now superceded by something more expensive) I make
my own. Swish is a program that creates MacroMedia Flash display for web
pages...but it also has the ability to create AVI files...so problem
solved.

Therefore, maybe a search for something similar will give you the ability
to make your own endings of good and original quality.

An after thought.....I can create a few for you if you tell me what you
want....I could put them on my website as a free download. In fact I think
I will anyway. If you have some specific ideas on what you want yourself,
then do tell...I will try and create them for you.

The above of course applies to anyone.

I use a program called SWISH. It creates Macromedia files that can be be
output as AVI files of very high quality. If you look at my web site
opening screen you will see a very basic message asking you to sign the
guest book and then a note telling you what screen size is required to view
my site...all of that was created using the program I am referring
to....Could be a bit of fun this.

Hello again,

I have just uploaded to my website the first batch of basic "The End" AVI
Clips. This selection is very basic, fades in and explodes out which will
eventually be removed and replaced with a wider choice. In the meantime I
am creating a slightly fancier selection of "The End"s

I expect that I will be able to create around a dozen a day (all that
really changes in each batch are the background and foreground colour's, so
once the first was has been made the rest are very easy to produce.

If you have any wish list on this please let me know, provided its within
my abilities I will do what I can for you.
