Hi, ALL
I'd like to know the differences between the calendar and the tasks.
I find that they have the same function, such as reminder, start time, end
time etc.

thank you very much

I'd like to know the differences between the calendar and the tasks.

time,end time etc.

Well, yes, they do share a number of features, but, well, one major difference
is that Tasks have a Due Date, calendar events have a End Time.

But, really, the major difference is that one is a calendar, one is a to
do list. Seriously. That's the prime difference right there.

The calendar is a list of meetings you have.
The tasks are a list of things you have to do.

Can you use your Calendar as Tasks? Sure.

Tasks also can be made and link to other Microsoft applications such as
OneNote, SharePoint and Project.

Tasks can be categorised to show you those relating to a certain project.
(You can do this with meetings too)

Tasks can be Assigned to other people.

Tasks can be tracked through to completion. You don't complete an
appoinment.

Incomplete Tasks can carry forward until you do them. Meetings get left
nehind on the day they were scheduled to occur.
