I have a brand new server Dell Poweredge 2650 with two broadcom 10/100/gig
cards in it. I get zero errors when I install windows and perform all the
updates. However after joining my domain and rebooting I immediately start
getting two errors The DC and This box are both attached to a Cisco 4006
switch which has porrtfast turned on for the ports which attach to servers
or workstations.
The DHCP Client service terminated with the following error: Access is
denied. Event ID: 7023 Source is service control manager
The Background Intelligent Transfer Service service hung on starting. Event
ID: 7022 Source is service control manager (HAVE this one fixed)
The DHCP Client service is shutting down. The following error occurred :
Access is denied. Event ID: 1004 Source DHCP.
IF anyone has any clues on why this is happing I would greatly appreciate a
push in the correct direction
