I've changed drives, cables, now the drive is on a raid, and that msg keeps
coming up almost every day now, I have a chaintech nforce2 (7njs) mobo, even
have updated nforce drivers >.<

any help will be aprreciated

Whats the error, youre leaving alot out.
Try opening ADM.,(control-panel)event viewer,look at
the events for specific info. From whats posted, the slave
drive,D: isnt configured properly, for raid you need to
install the drivers when booting from xp cd,the text
will appear. You also probably need to open cmd,DiskPart,
create a raid drive.Open cmd type:DiskPart,then type:
HELP A menu for creating drives appears(raid also).
But its all based on 1/2 dozen or so words you typed in.

Wright, the Description was:

The device, \Device\Harddisk1\D, is not ready for access yet.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

And the "Words" under the discription are:

The raid is working fine, the RAID drivers are installed, the drives are
working I got them more than half full. I had this error when I only had 2
drives, (master, slave) and the slave in that case also did the same from
time to time, I just wondering if its the mobo fault or something with
windows, I had windows re-installed from scratch, runing xppro.
