The date of the start of the financial year

Hi

Could you please help me I am trying to calculate the
value of items that have been sold in this financial year
only. At the moment I have field where I have type in 1
July 2003.

How do I define the start of the financial year
automatically so I do not have to change it every year?

I am new to working with databases so any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Hi,


You can subtract 6 months to the dates and compare their Year( ) value:
that would be the fiscal year (by opposition to the colander year).
