Has anyone tried The Core Media Player?
IMHO this one has the best sound quality of any freeware audio player I've
tried.
Their web site is http://www.corecoded.com/

Why is it that software writers have to make the player look like an actual
standalone cd or dvd player? I tend to avoid software that uses these
childish "skins" which look like they are aimed at a 14 year old who likes a
"kewl" looking app.

I think they *are* aimded at kiddies... Another reason to use 1by1, an
excellent piece of software.

Get the Winamp plugins also, at least the ones which work in 1by1 for
cd, wav, ogg.
