I am getting an error message in Outlook that reads the following:

Task 'pop.bellsouth.net - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F): 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact
your server administrator or ISP.

Here's the kicker, There is 2 email address accounts in Outlook, that both
use different email servers and credentials. No matter which account is being
used, the same error appears. I've tried it with different ISPs with no
improvement. Below is a list of items I have tried. Also, I've been able to
use both email accounts within Outlook Express. I am able to recieve just
fine, but when I send is where the problems lie. Doesn't matter what email
address I send to or the email account, there is a problem.

Recreated Email Accounts
Deleted all Profiles and created a new profile
Disabled AV and Firewall Software
Tweaked Connection settings within Outlook
Uninstalled and Reinstalled Outlook

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I have already checked out that article. I tried all of the ones that were
applicable to my scenario. I really believe this is some obscure registry
edit or setting that needs to be changed.

Thanks.

Did you ever get your problem solved? I am having the same symptoms and have
tried the same remedies - all to no avail.

Hi Dave,
Try what Daine Poremsky wrote, Idid and my mail is working.
She said to find the file *.srs, type it in search, when you find the file
delete it. It will make a new file and with the proper settings.
Good luck.

Hi Jan:

Yes, I solved my problem, after much, much effort and Ethereal use. It
turned out to be TCP settings in the registry that had to do with SACKs and
retries. I haven't had a problem since.
