The connecion has been lost. Attempting to reconnect

Hi all,,
Can anyone here suggest me a solution to fix the below mentioned problem of
mine..

Iam using Windows xp service pack2 when i try to remotely connect to my
windows 2003 server iam getting "The connecion has been lost. Attempting to
reconnect
to your session" but when I use a different PC with the same IP address as
that of
the old one, its working fine.

i have googled alot but i didnt get an answer which can solve my problem.

Pls try to help me.
