The Cleaner a resource hog?

Just installed The Cleaner and had it's TCActive running in the
background. Lo and behold, it was using up to 50% CPU resources in my
XP. Once I closed it, resource use went back to the 1% to 2% Iwas
accustomed to. Is this normal for anti-trojans or just this one?

Mmm, Yes. if you run regmon and ntfile mon from sysinternals.com you will
see that it repeatedly checks files/registry keys. Not the best way.

Id say if it behaves that way it is a resource hog and might possibly cause
problems when running other apps.Boclean (which possibly works differently
to the cleaners TCA active ) uses less than 1% on my system.
