This is a bit odd. I have Outlook 2003 that I have been
using for some time without any issue. Tonight I have
recieved two replies to messages I have sent. When the
email notification window appears, I can see the first
few lines of the response. But when I click to open the
email, there is nothing new to read. All previous
correspondence is there, but any new lines are gone.
I have tried replying to see if they come back, I have
saved it as a text file, I even tried restoring from my
PST file to another PC. No luck, it's like it is getting
erased the moment I open the email. I have two questions:
First and foremost, is there anyway to recover these
emails. I am guessing, since Outlook briefly showed the
response, there must be some way to recover said
response.
Secondly, has anyone experienced this before? The email
itself isn't that big (I think 24 K) and there are no
attachments. The only thing is that the most recent
response by me has a new signature file, but that is all.
Thanks for reading this and any assistance you can offer.
Sincerely,
Jeff
