Okay, I have a real big problem with Windows XP
First let me explain the setup, have two PC's one is directly connected with the internet through a USB ADSL modem and the second is connected to the first with a LAN. Everything worked okay, till one day I wasn't able to connect to the internet with the second PC. Then the first PC couldn't shutdown anymore, after removing the power the PC the real problem began. When I turned on the PC it started up until the HomeXP starting screen and instead of starting XP it gave a blue screen and restarted immediatly. And it keeps on doing that on and on, I cannot read the blue screen because it dissapears to fast.
So I tried to recover with the CD, but what auto recover did??? So I thought I just reinstall XP, when trying to reinstall the installation gave me the message that the HD didn't had a NTFS table? Now, the first thing that I want is the information back what was on the HD and the second get the OS back

What should I do?

Niels, just hook up your drive as slave to the working PC. After you recover
all your files you can format.
