The Barnacle "parking ticket"

I wonder how long it will be, before this "parking deterrent" finds its way to our shores? Will it replace the more-familiar wheel clamp? It certainly looks easier to fit and remove. But a bit of a hassle if your mobile battery is flat, or something.

I'd be tempted to get my windscreen replaced.

I offer up a better solution ... tow the vehicle away, crush it, and send the bill to the vehicle owner.

I like that! Round here we get a lot of (rich) idiots in 4x4s who think that a big car gives them licence to park anywhere... I'd like to see them barnacled
