A friend in Nevada posted this LINK to some pix - they certainly put our soggy summer into perspective, I think. "Ike" really was a whopper of a storm :nod:
 
It was the cat in a tree that gave it away, all them photos are of the area around Windermere in the lakes. Its true I tell ya its true.

Got friends who used to live in the Lone Star State of Texas.
The house had a massive bunker under the house just in case of events like this.
When staying their in the 80's we used it for the very thing!

Galverston where the storm hit is a nice place.
