The ActiveX warning bar has disappeared...

....not quite sure how!
The bar that used to come up giving me the option of accepting downloads
containing activeX components no longer appears below the toolbars in IE (6)
so I suspect I have changed something.
Strangely-I still hear the 'blip' noise.....but nothing happens!

(WinXPsp2 ie6-all security updates applied.)

Any idea what I need to do/check?
