Orlando Gondar

Thanks to all that responded to me before.
Again right now the system is down once again.
I getting tire to tell my customers and friends that
the system is up then down then up and then down.

I posting this here, to let you know folks, that be
very careful, but you had seen what is happend
with this company.

Avoid EDatarack, so you dont loss customers
or people think that your webs, no matter how
good you program / design, is no good.

You may want to move on in life.
Get another host. Everyone gets another host.
Host are like wives - there are plenty for everyone to have more than 1 or
2.

I would just like to add my 2 cents about this company. One thing I
hate is shelling out good hard earned money to someone who cannot be
upfront with their clients. I hate being left in the dark. I am not
sure if they shut down completely or what??
It is Sept 19th 2003. Edatarack is down again! I have try everything
to contact these guys. They have promised with notices
that all was going to be better. They signed a contact with a provider
with a tier1 service. HA HA HA. I have 5 sites with them and one I
just signed up last week. This one has been down for a whole week. I
have asked for my money back but have been given the run around. Now
everything on their site does not work (Help desk and emails are all
returned.Try their phone number and it is forever busy) Just for the
a good laugh read their 99.9% uptime garantee (states a the bottom
that a 24 hour notice would be given . HA HA ) and their Money back
Garantee messages. Good luck to all who have their site hosted
there!!!! Now I have to find another host for my clients (Which of
course I can't give them a straight answer because I haven't a
clue!!!!!).

I can't believe you capitalized the "c" in my name. a step I don't even
take myself. Dude!, You truly are a gentleman. a true gift from the south,
like a LeMatt revolver.

You may want to keep up the good work cause if it were not for those "Dudes"
we would be bored in life. I am heading to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving
week on my way to Toronto to my daughter's house - hope to see the Liberty
Bell or Paul Revere with his Smith & Wesson
http://www.smith-wesson.com/revolver.

Tap the F1 key now. Search on - Dudes

Thanks Rick, I see I am not alone on this.......

True, I try too but forge it

You know it might be easy for Chris and Jeff to just move on.
Unfortunatly
I am not as rich as they may be. For me every penny counts and to
think that I have shelled out good hard earned money and some big wig
is sitting back on his Pina Colada beach with a big silly grin on his
face. This really rumples my feathers and there is no way I will give
him the satisfaction with my money. The sad part about this is that
even though this hosting company is almost completely down they are
still accepting new members. Is this right??

believe me Rick,
I'm not rich, or at least not nearly as rich as I deserve to be!

that's not my point. the point is I went through four hosting providers
till I finally found a good one. I knew what I was looking for on the last
3 and I still got hosed. the thing is these days there are so many
resellers and fly-by nighters that even if you know what you're looking for
you could get burned.

now that I've found a place I can live with I'm a much happier person. I
was given the tip by a guy on this newsgroup and have thanked him profusely.
that was about a year ago and I NEVER have server problems (unless I'm doing
something "weird").

I've recommended geo-hosting several times here but I don't do it much
anymore. I use their reseller interface and have nothing but good to say
about them.

You got it, remember I am new to hosting, so dont know much about hosting
companies, I got my eyes on this one: http://www.webmasters.com/

Maybe you can answer me a question, if you go there, noticed they mention
Pearl
ASP, C++ and others.....

Do this means I can write my own C++ code to be used on the web pages ?

it's fairly hard to tell if a host will bite by just looking at their web
page. I can honestly recommend www.geo-hosting.com make sure you get on a
windows server wherever you go (it makes everything with fp work better)
I don't get anything from geo, I just know them to be good guys.
I was also told www.infoquest.com was good. it was told to me by someone
who knows, and who I trust.
