Thanks for the input.

I tried the suggestions and they didn't work. But I
finally came across a solution and wanted to pass it on.

I downloaded the free trial of ewido security suite and it
took care of the problem.

It actually found over 200 issues that Microsoft didn't
find and wiped them out for me.

Thanks again

Evans

Not sure what the input you received was and what problem
you was having but I agree Ewido is a great scanner.
There is afew false positives here and there especially
for users of AVG, pcAnywhere, Ghostsurf, the game Risk
etc.. but generally it works great .

I do not think Ewido found 200 different issues that are
being missed by MS Antispy but maybe a few problems that
MS doesn't detect in alot of different area's, Probably
alot of cookies and files in temp folders,

Ewido is more for Backdoor Trojans, Trojan Downloader &
Dialers etc.. where MSAS in its current form targets
mainly spyware although these days they do overlap and
its common to have Adware/Spyware and Trojans and MS do
need to address this but Im sure they are aware of what
items need including. If you have the Ewido scan log
saved please post it here as that would be very helpfull
if you think MS Antispy is missing so many problems .

Regards

Andy

=============================
Ewido found a Trojan MSAS, Spybot and Adaware all missed.

In future--a good thing to do is submit a Tools, Suspected spyware report
and detail what was missed. That's one way to contribute to making sure the
tool gets better.

Submit a Tools, suspected Spywar report? What does that mean? Where do I
submit it?

Probably irrlevant, since you are "gone"--but it's a menu choice within
Microsoft Antispyware.
