I am new to XP and yes they do use install sheild. my cd
reader 52X liteon doesnt work at all and my burner
24X24X48X is all that works as a reader as well as burns.
But I want to thank you for your help as it took care of
it quite nicely as well as pointed me in the right
direction reguarding my 52X and its problems (dma errors)
once again thank you for your help it was very much
