Hi

i have read somewhere that in compact framework 2.0 you can now use the
TextFieldParser. I cannot find it anywhere has anybody else used it?

Wherever you read it, they were wrong. It is not in the CF.

That's an error in the documentation, this is a new feature in the desktop
v2.0 framework but not the Compact Framework. I think the same applies to
AudioPlayMode too.
