Textbox filled white, no line, printing square on hard copy

To hide particular parts of my slide, I have always
inserted a textbox, filled white with no line, and it
works perfectly. It still does on the presentation,
however when printing a hard copy, a square prints? Is
this a microsoft error? Is there a fix? Is there an
option I need to select. I have tried it on various
computers in our office, and same problem. I had someone
else print from another computer and it didn't occur.

Indeed, a box with no fill and no line won't print, but neither will it
accomplish the first objective, that of obscuring objects on the slide. I'd
like to hear more about why Cheryl is hiding objects that way. (What are you
trying to hide, Cheryl?!) There might be an altogether different, and
better, way to address the issue...

What Geetesh said, Cheryl. Textboxes with a fill will print in B/W as if
they have a line. If you don't have any text in the box, you can set the
B/W Settings to "white" and that will remove the line.

If you have text, though, you'll need to put an autoshape with no text
underneath the textbox and set that autoshape's B/W Settings to "white"
or "don't show." Then create the textbox itself with no line and no
fill.
