I am running Powerpoint 2007 and my text is wrapping in the middle of a word,
not at the word breaks.

Has anyone encountered this?

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this may be occurring?

Thanks,

Gregory Markow

Hello,

I have a dell laptop, and I had lots of problems with text jumping around.
Part of the problem was my touch pad. Every time I touched it the cursor
would jump around.

Unless there is some sort of problem with the your auto format in
PowerPoint. Go to the Microsoft Office button, PowerPoint options, proofing
tools and the auto correct options button by. Is there anything had turned
on too? Although I doubt this is the problem.

PPT doesn't have hyphenation. It's unusual for PPT to wrap in the middle of
a word, but it does happen on occasion. You'll have to adjust the font size
or the textbox itself to avoid the wrap -- or add a hyphen manually and use
Shift+Enter as necessary to add a "soft return," which moves the text to the
next line without creating a new "paragraph."

The problem was caused the the Line Spacing option -> Asian Typography Tab ->
Allow Latin text to Wrap in the middle of a word option.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks,

I don't see this in my line spacing options: -> Asian Typography
> Tab -> > Allow Latin text to Wrap in the middle of a word option.
