as part of a computer course i am doing (MS Access unit), I am trying to
update a Branch code field to transfer all "Ford" cars (in field called
MAKE) to branch code D, but the query wont update. I have created select
query and set the criteria to "Ford " within MAKE field, which works ok. I
then conert to update query but cannot get an expression in the Update to
cell to change the text in branch code to D.
Any pointers with expressions/update queries would be useful. All Update to
information seems based on functions.
