Hi everybody,

Am I being stupid?

I have built some Powerpoint presentations for gap-fill exercises (I am an
English teacher) it's fine if only one gap exists on a slide or if several
gaps on one slide are found in order. I would like to be able reveal each
gap in the order in which my students find them. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Simon

No VBA needed. Lets assume you have a blue background on the slide.

Put your line of text together.

Place a blue box (same color as background) over the word to be hid.

Set its animation to exit on click.

Does that do it for you?

Thank you, Austin, it was kind of you to answer. I had got that far it was
the problem of changing the order of the appearance that was causing me to
scratch my head.

Lucy, you came up trumps. Very many thanks!!! I think you have changed my
life and the lives of my victims/students.
