I am using FP03 and i have created my own vertical navigation link bars. I
can position the text left, center and to the right. I have the text
positioned to the left and it is touching the border of the page. How do I
add space so they are not touching? I have already tried typing in a space
and changing the cell padding but these do not work. Please help!

are these link bars from a FrontPage theme?
you could put a class on the cell and give it some left padding to move the
elements away from the edge.

the class/ padding on a cell would be for if you didn't have the buttons in
a theme.
try to reduce the font size of the buttons by modifying the theme.
can I see a link to one of the pages in question? it'll make it easier for
me to give you a good answer.

wouldn't centering the text on those buttons solve the problem?
maybe I'm not understanding what you're looking for as a fix.
tell me the best scenario you're hoping to get here. there's a solution I
can guarantee that.
