Text Overlay

I'm looking for a little help in putting text on video. Is there a way to put
the text on the top of the screen almost like what FOX does for there sports
coverage. Right now, I'm using the subtitle effect on Movie Maker 2.0 but it
only comesup on the bottom. Please advise. Thanks.
