I have voice over audio that I would like to play throughtout my slide. I have set my bulleted points to use custom animation. I have played around with the settings for - startw/previous and start after previous. I can get the sound to start playing and the first bulleted point to appear using the custom animation, but the next bulleted points do not come in. Please Help

I have the same problem, and judging from other posts in the newsgroup, it seems quite a few others do too

Do you have the sound attached to the bullet points (i.e. as a part of the
animation effects), or do you have it as a separate item on the slide that
is animated? If you have it attached to the bullet points, then try it the
other way - You will like the results better. (And by the way is this PPT XP
(2002) or PPT 2003? Need to know to test it here.)

Thanks for your replies -

I have figured it out after much trial and error. I am running Powerpoint 2002(XP). What I had to do, was insert the audio clip. Bring it to the top, and change everything below it to start w/previous. Then i had to manually change the time line properties to have the bulleted animations work. It took some time to get there, but now that I have figured it out, work is going by much more smoothly. Thanks

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have recommendations for how
PowerPoint might make it easier to accomplish this task, don't forget to
send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)..
