Spell check is somehow disabled in Outlook 2003. Any text I write or reply
with will not spell check - it'll do everything else OK. If I spell check I
get a dialogue box saying text marked 'do not spell check' was skipped. I do
not know how this has been marked or how I un-mark it!! All the options seem
the same as my colleagues. It used to - now it doesn't?

Word is your editor? are you using a signature? You are probably typing in
the sig field.

Same problem. Spell check doesn't work, I get a dialogue box saying "text marked 'do not spell check' was skipped". I know the quick answer is that I am typing in a "signature block" -- and I probably am, since I use autotext to insert a standard header and footer into my email, so I HAVE to type between them!

Is there any way to fix this? I know in regular Word I can simply pull down the "Set language" box and uncheck "do not spell check". But the Outlook "tools" drop down does does not offer a set language option. Is this just another Outlook limitation, or is there a way around it?
