Text in text box on slide not previewing/printing

I have a presentation which has a colour background. When I select print
preview the slides show up as a white background (which is fine I expect
that) but also the only text that is visible (or indeed prints off) are the
titles on each slide (in text boxes at the top). The other text on each
slide (there is a text box underneath each of the titles) is not previewing
or printing. I cannot figure out why it does not show, have tried looking at
the text box formatting and can see nothing wrong with it. Have also made
sure the printing is in black and white but to no avail.
Any help would be gratefully received

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? If all slides are affected, switch
to slide master view, change View to Grayscale, click on the text
placeholder and adjust its properties so that it prints in gray or black.
Switch back to normal view. In Normal view the colors should not be
affected, but when printing in Grayscale (never use pure black & white), the
prints should come out fine.

Best regards,
Ute
