I am creating a 4 page form with microsoftword-xp and on
each page there is a name field. Is there any way to put
a formula or something so that when the name is entered on
the first page, it will automatically go to the other 3
pages? I know you can do it in excel, but am not sure if
it would work using tables and form fields.

nydia,

If this is a protected form using formfields this is very easy. Use a text
from field in the first place you want the name to appear. If it is the
first form field you have entered it will be by default bookmarked as Text1.
At all other locations you want the name to appear you enter a cross
reference field to the bookmark. Double click your name form field and check
"calculate on exit." When you protect the form and enter the Name in the
from field it will update the other locations.

Yes it will work. Your formfield has a bookmark name (double-click the
field to enter the field properties) like text1. Place your cursor where
you want the information copied, click "Insert", "reference",
"Cross-Reference". Click the dropdown and select "Bookmarks", highlight
your bookmark, then click "OK".

Be sure to click the "calculate on exit" in your formfield property so as
soon as you TAB out of the field all of the cross-references will update.
