I would like to add a text form field to my word
document. I realize this does expand if you type more
into the field, but I was wondering if there is a way to
expand this before anything is even typed into it? I
would like it to appear longer so it doesn't confuse
someone.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,
Brian L.

HI Brian,

You could try adding lots of spaces in the Default text property on the form
field (Double click on it to get to the property dialog box, Default is in
the top right corner).
Make sure users Tab through the form fields... if they just click in it,
they might end up with lots of white space before the beginning of their
text...

Insert the form field in a (borderless) table cell set to an At Least height
and Preferred width.
