Hi!

I am working on template that has 2 sections. Text should automaticaly flow
from page 1 (section1) to second page (section2).

When I paste (or write) text, section 1 is continued untill end of text.

Is there a way to "fix" sectioning - there is always section 1 on page 1 and
section 2 on page 2 that continues over remaining pages (if there are any,
depends on amount of text).

Thanks,
b.

No you cannot do that. That is not how sections work. My guess is that you
are using section breaks for a letterhead that has a different first page
setting. Don't do that. Instead use a single section with a different first
page header/footer - see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Letterhead.htm

Ah ... silly me :)

I completelly forgot about this and went straight to sections.
Thanks for the tip!

PS: regarding my question -- it can be done, but with a bit of programming.
I have some corporate template that does exactly that. Unfortunately (for me)
code is locked and I 'm also complete idiot for programming. Either way, it's
no use for me.

At first only 1 page is present. If text drop to another page different page
is created, but text flow is retained.

That's how the different first page header works. You set up the first and
subsequent page headers using a temporary page break, then remove the page
break. Thus you see only the first page header until you over-fill the page.
Word retains the header information for the subsequent pages.

Hm, I read that also on page you posted.
So, no "programming superpowers" involved? Cool :)

Thanks for your effort,
b.
