Recently, most messages I have been receiving have a text
file attached to them. These text files usually start with
the letter A and then a combination of numbers, and end
with .txt. I did open one of the messages and found that
it was simply a copy of what the original e-mail
contained. Is this text file being generated by Outlook or
my outgoing mail server? I've tested my system for MyDoom
and it appears that I am NOT infected. Could this be some
other virus?

Send your messages in Plain Text or HTML format.

Forget what I said. I didn't pay attention to your word "receiving".

Have you rebooted your machine lately, or at least restarted Outlook?
