When I export an Access table, those records that over a certain length
are "wrapped" in the output file. This prevents them from being
imported correctly.

Is there a way to prevent this?

Hi Todd,

In my experience the most likely cause is that there are line breaks in
the actual data in some of the records, so the first thing to do is to
exclude that possibility.

Otherwise, at what length are they being wrapped?

BTW, if you export as "CSV" (comma separated with text fields "delimited
" or "qualified" with quote marks) a lot of software can cope with line
breaks in the data.

Is there a way to prevent this?

That was it! The folks at my client are putting CR/LF's in fields!
