Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced.
Click on Content Tab then click on AutoComplete Button.
There check the AutoComplete for web addresses, forms and passwords.
Also you can click on Advanced tab and check the Inline AutoComplete check
box.

Here are the paths that you can find the Autocomplete ( there are other):
C:\Documents and settings\<Local user>\Favorites

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoComplete =

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserAssist.

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Map
Network Drive MRU
[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\LastVisitedMRU

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs

You can Edit the value there to Allow or prevent AutoComplete, but it will
be the same if you used the GUI on the IE properties.
