I have been archiving email from yahoo for a fre years, and converting the
files into .txt files w/ rename software. How do I use Windows Mail to
access these files and read the hedder just like it was online now that I use
the POP Windows download acrhiving features??
What email reader will read those files while in the vastly more useful .txt
format??

I don't understand.

You say you are "archiving email from yahoo" and then renaming the files.
All of that is done outside of Windows Mail, correct? Therefore this
question is not a Windows Mail question; the format is not a Windows Mail
format. Have you tried to open the file using a text editor?

What do you mean by "POP Windows download acrhiving features"? I really
doubt there is anything such as that in Windows Mail and if there is a
Windows Mail feature you are asking about, it is called something different
and people familiar with Windows Mail are not likely to know what "POP
Windows download acrhiving features" in Windows Mail is.

Use Windows Mail to read what files, the Yahoo emails that you have
changed to a .txt extension? Windows Mail can only open .eml files.

In today's world, converting emails to .txt format is not very useful,
considering that most emails are now in HTML format.
