I just copied a presentation onto a CD and I have the pictures but no text.
Can someone please help me answer this problem? I am thinking it is easy but
I can not figure it out. Thank you all for your help! Please someone answer
back.

When you run it off a CD, are you running it on the same computer or a
different computer? Which version of PowerPoint are you using? Is it running
it with PowerPoint Viewer or the full version of PowerPoint when viewed from
the CD? Have you installed a local printer driver (

Yes, we checked it on my computer and another computer, no text. 2003
version, I am not sure what version it is running, I installed the PowerPoint
viewer after the first test and it still didn't show text. Is there a way I
can set which one to use? Maybe this is the problem? Thanks for all your
suggestions, can you give me anymore?

I am still trying to figure out if it is running off the Viewer when you run
it from the CD. What happens if you open PowerPoint on your computer and
then use File > Open to open the presentation off the CD. Do you still have
the text problems?

When I open it right from the computer I see it just fine. When I have it
packaged for a cd and double click the cd there is no text.

I understand this. My question is: when you double-click on the version on
the CD, does it open the PowerPoint file in the PowerPoint Viewer or the
full version of PowerPoint. I would like you to open PowerPoint (not
double-clicking on any file). Then, go to the File menu and choose Open.
Navigate to your CD and select and open the PowerPoint file that is on the
CD. This will open the PowerPoint file that is on the CD in the full version
of PowerPoint. I want to know if the text has a problem when you do this.
This will answer for me whether the problem is with the file that is created
or with the Viewer's ability to show the file.

I did exactly as you mentioned below and yes I see the text just fine.
Thanks for all your help and will look forward to your next suggestion. I
need to get these made for 55 Realtors ASAP.

OK. That means that the problem is with the Viewer seeing your text.
Whatever you have done, it is not Viewer-friendly. In that case, you are
likely to be helped by the following:

Text disappears in the Viewer
