Text Direction In Access

Does Anybody know how to change the text direction on a
report so it reads sideways, i need this to fit all my
fields on a cross tab report onto one page. Im running MS
Access 97

Any assistance iin this matter would be greatly
appreciated.

I believe you can use File | Page Setup to change the orientation of the
paper to Landscape when you are in design mode for the report.

Further to this i did find a way but its far from ideal, i
copied the fields to excel and then edited them to show
the correct text direction, then imported back into access
as an image, this is a horid way of doing things becouse
it is so inflexible.

but hey sometimes you have to work with whats given to you
with access.
 
Thanks Jeff but unfortunately this would change direction
of all text, i need to change the fields going
horizontally to read downwards leaving the vertical fields
to read across.

dude
go into the properties of the field/s, Other tab, change vertical to YES
Then play around with the field shape/size

don't seem to work pete i cant find vertical anywhere?
are you using 97 or a later version?
