Hi - I have a spreadsheet I need some help on. I need to
create a macro that will delete certain text within the
spreadsheet. I don't want to have to go in and find each
item that I need deleted from the spreadsheet, so I
thought if I could just run a macro each time I received
an updated file, I could save some time.
Would a macro be the answer or are there any other
suggestions?

Thanks so much for the help!!
Tami

Have you tried Edit / Replace, putting your text in the 'Find what' part and just leaving the
'Replace With' part blank.

Yes. That's what I'm trying to get out of doing. I don't
want to have to find and replace each part so I thought if
I could write a macro, I could just run it and it would go
in and delete all of them out at one time.

We're talking by each other here. From your note it seems you are looking for one piece of text
that can appear in multiple cells, and you would like to relace that with nothing, effectively
deleting it. If so, then that is exactly what Edit / replace will do for you, across the entire
sheet in every cell that contains that text, without you having to do it cell by cell. If this
isn't what you are looking to do then I'm missing the gist of what you are trying to do.
