Hi

this as they say is doing my head in. Sent a previous post but despite best
efforts the show is unusable. This as they say is what I did ...Created a
presentation in 2007.....

I've made sure the fonts are embedded and I've only used arial. I've used
the save as html and re open in powerpoint screen option is set to 800*600
and I've set it to copy all linked files

I've completely restarted the presentation, and saved as a 2003 file and
done the save as html bit again.

When I look as proporties I see the calibre font listed buit I have not used
it (as far as I am aware)

I've saved the presentation as a 2003 file and used that to create the
publish to cd files

No matter what when ever I view it on some page the text is corrupt yet
when I re load that slide it may be pefect or the corruption moved to another
word.

Shall I start again using 2003 or 2000? or is there a solution?

thanks

Ian

I would probably use 2003 if I were you.

But I'd like to have a look at the 2007 presentation, if you can email it to
me. I'm curious to see if it exhibits the same behavior here. You can mail
it to echos at indy dot net, and if you could reference at least the title
of this thread so I can remember what I'm looking at, I'd appreciate it. And
if you can attach a screenshot of a couple of the slide that exhibit the
poor display there, that would be great.

And finally, maybe it *is* a printer driver issue. Try installing the
printer driver mentioned in this set of instructions
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00605.htm and see if that resolves the issue. (The
problem is, this might not resolve the issue on other machines, of course.)

You are testing the publish to CD files on the same computer you created it
on, right? And you're double-clicking the Play.BAT file to test?

Hi

I'm testing the "cd files" on both the production machine and a test machine.

I'll email you the presentation later on

thanks

Ian

Got your mail, Ian, thanks for sending it. (I've no desire to critize the
effort! And I'm honestly not sure you have done *anything* wrong. I'll take
a look at it soon and see if I can find anything.)
