I have 2003--not sure if this was corrected in 2007, but I'm just flagging it.
I often get slides that other people have created, and the text boxes are
usually all different sizes. One of the first things I do is Fomat>Autoshape
and then look at the size tab for the numbers. I then apply it to the other
boxes.
However, I ran into two autoshapes that had never been used for text. When
I clicked on the Size tab, the dimensions were not displayed. The only way I
could determine the size was to exit from that dialog box, right click on the
shape, and do "Edit Text." Then the dimensions became visible. It seems to
me that it would be a good idea if the numbers were visible.
