Text box: hitting Enter not moving to a new line

Hello:

I'm sure there is a simple answer. Trying to hit ENTER in a text box in a
form.

Need to be able to do a basic carriage return, meaning as if in MS Word, if
I need a blank line between one sent. and the next, I could do that.

I know Options in teh main menu allows one to switch the ENTER button from
jumping fields. But how do I get it to produce just a carriage return??
