One of the Microsoft Blogs talked about Texas Holdem and that it had been
released, is anybody aware of this, and where can I find it on my PC, it does
not show under ultimate extras.

You are using the RTM, final version that went on sale Jan 30, right? You
can't get Ultimate Extras on beta copies of Vista.

You don’t get ultimate extras with the eval edition, you have to have a
purchased copy.

I am using a MSDN copy of Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit RTM and I don't see
any Ultimate Extras either. Is this due to the MSDN copy of the fact that
I'm using the Swedish version?

I've got the same problem. I can't see the extra's either. I bought windows
vista ultimate DSP (that's OEM + DVD) a week ago. I think it's very very
strange.....

Right, but Microsoft knows if you paid for it, or still on the trial. Till
you actually pay for it, you wont be able to download the extras.

Seeing that this discussion will take forever if not a solution is posted
I'll just post the solution I found when I started messing around with it.
Simply download the English language pack and restart the Windows update
application. Suddenly I had 3 ultimate extras ready to download, without
even using it. I just downloaded it and installed it.

Please tell me if this works for anyone else of you.

Thank you ever so much Linus, your solution did the trick. It’s a damn shame
the creators of windows Vista haven’t indicated that the English langue pack
is a dependency for the Extras.

Glad I go to help someone. I always find great pleasure in tinkering with
these things and its even better when it helps someone.

I noticed the same thing regarding DreamScene today. Someone said to change
to English Display language, but all I had to do was download it. But I god
hold 'em without the english language pack. But needed it for DreamScene.
Even thou DreamScene crashed my display drivers like a hundred times a minute.
