Texas finally has rain! Thank God for that!

I am so happy we are blessed with some rain. It's been a very bad summer for us with that dry season. wild fires, houses burnt to ground, people losing their lives.

I was standing at my front door and thought I'd use my camera phone to take a picture, so here it is.....

Yes we heard about your wild fires even over here. We had a a very dry hot spring a disappointing summer but last week we had a very hot week up to 84f a record for the end of September and the beginning of October, highest temps ever recorded for the autumn. I bet it was quite a relief to have rain and I bet it cooled things down a bit.

It looks as if the rain refreshed things a lot after such a long, dry season. It must be such a relief for everyone. Enjoy it while it lasts.
